REU 2019 Begins

On May 20, 2019 students from around the US began their 9-week Research Experiences for Undergraduates in Industrial Mathematics and Statistics, supported by the National Science Foundation.  Students work with faculty on real-world projects provided by business, industry or government.   Projects this year are provided by the Pfizer and GE Aviation, US.

SIAM Speaker Series Presents: Cleve Moler

The WPI SIAM Chapter will be hosting a visit by Dr. Cleve Moler on January 29, 2019 at 4pm in Salisbury Labs 115.  Dr. Moler is the co-creator of Matlab and the co-founder of MathWorks.  He has received many prestigious awards, including the 2014 IEEE John von Neumann medal.
