GE is interested in WPI graduates (opportunities can be found at https://jobs.gecareers.com/ListJobs/All).  In late April 2018, a group from CIMS visited GE Global Research Center in Niskayuna, NY. The trip was arranged by Dr. Kristen Brosnan, Technical Operations Leader, Metals & Ceramics and a Matthew Porter, a graduate student visiting CIMS from the University of Birmingham in the UK. The group visited the Edge Controls Lab, the characterizations laboratories, the FORGE lab, and the structural materials lab.
