Suzanne Weekes named 2019 AWM Humphreys Award Winner

CIMS Member Prof. Suzanne Weekes has been granted the 2019 M. Gweneth Humphreys Award for Mentorship of Undergraduate Women by the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM).    As mentioned in the press release, Prof. Weekes is recognized for her work as Director of CIMS, Director of the WPI REU Program in Industrial Mathematics and Statistics, and a founding co-director of MSRI-UP in promoting women undergraduates to pursue graduate degrees in mathematics.  The award will be presented at the 2019 Joint Mathematics Meeting in Baltimore, MD in January.
