Homer Walker Elected Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics

CIMS Member Prof. Homer Walker has been elected as Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics.  As noted in the announcement, Prof. Walker is being honored for contributions for theory and software of iterative methods for nonlinear systems and optimization, as well as applications of these methods to scientific simulations.
