REU Students present at SMAST at UMass Dartmouth

REU students present to the lab of Dr. Gavin Fay at UMass Dartmouth

Students from the NSF-funded Research Experiences for Undergraduates in Industrial Mathematics and Statistics visited the School for Marine Science and Technology (SMAST) at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth on July 26, 2018, to present their research to students and faculty in the Department of Fisheries Oceanography, in particular the lab of Dr. Gavin Fay. The students also listened to presentations given by current SMAST researchers and were given a tour of the lab. This project is advised by Prof. Andrea Arnold and Prof. Burt Tilley.
