Students in the WPI REU in Industrial Mathematics and Statistics with WPI Summer Research students and faculty, behind Higgins House.

On May 30, 9 students from around the US began their 9-week Research Experiences for Undergraduates in Industrial Mathematics and Statistics, supported by the National Science Foundation.  Students work with faculty on real-world projects provided by business, industry or government.   Projects this year are provided by the National Oceanographic and Atmosphereic Administration Northeast Fisheries Science Center and Doherty Advisors LLC.
