Undergraduates representing WPI at BMES 2018: Jacob Boles (Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship recipient) and Roisin Donnelly (WPI BME REU participant). Also, Kimberly Ornell’s work on antibody release from silk materials was presented. Way to go Coburn Lab!!!!
Carolina Villarreal receives a coveted Imagine IF award through Boston Scientific Company
Carolina Villarreal is a full time employee of BSC doing her PhD work in the lab. She received a prestigious Imagin IF award for her work on “EBUS for the delivery of immunotherapy”!!!
Natalia Vargas Montoya successfully defended her thesis today

BMES was in Phoenix, AZ this year. An amazing time, lots of great talks. Megan Sanders, our Summer 2017 REU student, presented her work on characterization of lyophilized silk scaffolds.
