By using C. elegans as a research tool, the Srinivasan Lab is able to facilitate many research projects using genetic and molecular approaches. Each project usually has one graduate student mentor and room for many undergraduate researchers. This collaborative environment allows the lab members to think critically and use each other as resources to further each project at a rapid pace.
