Congratulations Dr. Caroline Muirhead!

Our lovely PhD candidate Caroline successfully defended her thesis titled “Neuronal Circuits Underlying Sensory Processing In C. elegans” on April 8th 2025. She studied neural connections in worms in response to pheromones and uses really cool imaging techniques to study neurons! We wish Dr. Muirhead a great future!

Our brilliant PhD candidate, Liz, defended her PhD thesis on April 7th, 2025 and officially is Dr. DiLoreto! Her thesis was labeled ‘Neuromodulation of the C. elegans Functional Connectome’.  Her research centred around the various neuromodulators that govern behaviors in C. elegans and a novel technique called the peptide-feeding protocol.
