Massachusetts Life Sciences Innovation Day

At MALSI Day, July 21, 2022, Elizabeth DiLoreto represented our group and presented our patented work to deliver neuropeptides to C. elegans by feeding.

Neuropeptides are small proteins that move between neurons to shape their activity. We have used this technology in a recent publication, Reilly, et al, 2021 Comms Bio, Figure 6D. So far this work has been applied to restore single neuropeptides to loss of function mutants but this technology has applications beyond this rescue by feeding application.
