Lab Visit with Philippines Educators

We had some special visitors in lab yesterday. Coordinated by Mia Dubosarsky at WPI’s STEM Education center, our guests from the Philippines represent teachers from STEM high schools and the Department of Education.

In lab we were able to show them around and do a brief activity with them, demonstrating the power of C. elegans and the importance of olfaction. Overall, a stellar experience with some amazing educators where we all learned valuable lessons about the power of STEM education.
