My Education:

  • B.S. Chemical Engineering, University of Utah, 2001
  • B.S. Chemistry, University of Utah, 2001
  • Ph.D. Chemical Engineering, Purdue University, 2006
  • Post-doctoral Researcher, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, 2006-2009

Outside of WPI

Beyond my job at WPI I have several interests (probably too many!). I have four kids, which is where most of my time goes. Otherwise, I like music (folk, indie, ambient, trance, etc.), video games (Minecraft, Terraria, casual games), and reading (mostly science fiction/fantasy). I own a Fitbit to get some steps, try to exercise, occasionally geocache, and have made my own standing desk. I’m decent at chess and go. I also like puzzles, such as sudoku or slitherlink. Project Euler is fun for little programming challenges. I love to travel with my family. I’m also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
