Accommodations

Special arrangement has been made for the seminar attendants in the hotel NH Ciudad de València located in the seaport shopping/business district with easy access to the airport, the city railway station, and the harbor. The seminar site is within a 20 min. walk from the hotel; alternatively, it can be reached by a short city bus trip.

A major nearby attraction (a 15 min. walk from the hotel) is Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias (City of Arts and Sciences) – the famous ensemble designed by Valèncian architect Santiago Calatrava and considered an impressive example of modern architecture. The “city” is made up of the opera house and performing arts centre, Imax cinema, planetarium, science museum, open-air oceanographic park, etc. The discounted rate for seminar participants is €60/night.
