A list of technical topics to be discussed includes (but is not limited to) the following:

- Techniques and control of microwave processing in solid-state systems
- Traditional and new applications of solid-state generation technology.
- Prospects of the solid-state technology on the market; role of applicable modeling
- Determination of electromagnetic and thermal material parameters
- New developments in analytical methods and numerical models for microwave power engineering
Seminar Publications:
- Extended papers (up to 5 pages) representing the seminar contributions will be published in the Seminar Proceedings which will be available at the seminar.
- After the meeting, upon the authors’ consent, the papers will be uploaded to the seminar web site.
The Venue
The Seminar will be held in the facilities of the Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Padua, Via Gradenigo, 6/a, 35131 Padua
Seminar Structure
Technical sessions will take place on Thursday, March 9, half a day, and the whole day on Friday, March 10.
The Seminar will feature extended talks given by representatives of the software companies specializing in applicable multiphysics simulators. The program will also include a special Panel Session focused on the review of state-of-the-art of solid-state generation, its prospects for the microwave power engineering, and the role of computer modeling in the development of the field.
